YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Koimtzoglou-Bakalis-Venieris-Leventis and Associates Law Firm (KBVL, Member of Deloitte Legal Network) is currently looking for an ambitious Junior Associate to join its dynamic Real Estate Practice Group in Athens, focusing on traditional and specialized legal & compliance RE advisory services.
Our philosophy is to provide business oriented legal services, i.e., comprehensive and strategic risk analysis and realistic A-Z solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all legal aspects of real estate transactions, including inter alia property acquisitions, leases, sales, financing and development projects;
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of real-estate related agreements;
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on real estate properties, analysing property reports, surveys, zoning regulations, environmental assessments and other relevant documents to identify potential legal risks and ensure legal compliance;
• Litigation;
• Legal research;
• Carry out the day-today administrative tasks related to the department.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Law;
• Master’s degree in Law will be an asset;
• Qualified as an Attorney-at-Law in Greece (Athens Bar Association or other Bar Association membership);
• Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience in the business & real estate law field in a law firm or as an in house counsel;
• Experience in drafting and reviewing real estate due diligence reports, sale and purchase contracts and lease agreements;
• Experience in supporting business projects from a legal side or in the implementation of best business contracting practices;
• Experience in forestry, regulatory and planning matters, as well as competency in insolvency law, will be considered a strong asset;
• Excellent command of the English language; strong written and verbal skills;
• Excellent command of MS Office;
• Experience in litigation practices will be considered an asset;
• Excellent organization skills; Ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting demands;
• Attention to detail; 
• Punctuality;
• Collaborative and consultative team player who possesses an ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
