In the RWE Group, we have bundled our hydrogen activities in a Hydrogen Hub and are looking for strengthening our fast-growing team. The position "(Senior) Manager (m/f/t) Hydrogen Commercial Analysis" reports to the Head of Hydrogen Global Commercial Backbone, who is located in Germany / Essen. Locations for the role itself can be in the Netherlands, UK or Germany.
- End-to-end optimization of renewables / electrolyser / storage projects
- Preparation of bid analysis & strategies in the context of (integrated) H2 tenders
- Pricing of hydrogen products in preparation for sales meetings / negotiations
- Assess implications of (draft) regulations on LCoH and funding gaps
- Analysis of key value drivers, e.g. CapEx, RES mix, storage costs
- Benchmark of domestic green H2 production with imports (pipeline & derivatives)
- Support of H2 project developers with LCoH and NPV calculations in early project stages
- Cooperate with different business areas of the RWE Group, especially RWE Supply & Trading GmbH
Your powerful skills
- Degree in the fields of economics, natural sciences or similar
- Experience in the development of business models, e.g. DCF models or complex optimisations
- Strong stakeholder management
- Sound experience in the energy or hydrogen sector
- Analytical mindset as well as enthusiasm, assertiveness and decisiveness
- Distinct communication skills and confident appearance as well as teamwork as a lived practice
- Business fluent in English, both written and spoken
Advantage, but not a must
- Further language skills (German, Dutch)
