Technical Project Manager, Defence and Security, Tampere

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team in Tampere. 

In this role, you will be responsible for overall project management. You’ll lead our experienced team of software and hardware developers across our Digital Secure Services and Embedded Solutions units. Together, you’ll deliver a variety of safety critical projects that push boundaries and create a real-world impact.

You’re an inspired leader with a strong customer focus and a collaborative mindset. In addition to project execution, you’ll also play a role in pre-sales activities. Please note that security classified projects require national level security clearance.

What we expect from you?

• M.Sc. in Technical Sciences, Industrial Management or Business Administration
• Several years of proven track record on successful project management 
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Experience from digital services and/or embedded systems projects
• Experience from software development in a safety critical and regulated environment, e.g., defense, public sector, health care, industry, or space
• Ability to concurrently work on several projects under critical deadlines
• Have “Want to win” and "Can do" -attitude
• Good communication skills in English, preferably also in Finnish

Nice to haves:

• Project management certifications
• Interest for business development
• Knowledge of common technologies used in embedded and modern digital services development 
• Familiarity with requirements management, software architectures, and quality assurance  
• Knowledge of secure software development (SDL practices)
• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
