National Partner Marketing Manager

Driving pipeline, building positive relationships, and communication are your superpowers. You have strong relationships with strategic national partners which helps you lead the development, planning, execution and measurement of joint marketing plans.

As the National Partner Marketing Manager, you will work closely with partner sales, the broader marketing team, and national partners to implement joint demand generation, sales acceleration and enablement campaigns with and through partners.

You’ll establish success criteria, guide planning, and measure performance. As a go-to-resource for your partners, you thrive on being a trusted marketing partner and understand the importance of building positive relationships and developing mutually beneficial strategies and outcomes.

This role reports to the Director, Field & Partner Marketing.

What you can do for Expel

• Act as the primary marketing lead between Expel and our most strategic partners to develop a joint marketing strategy that exceeds revenue goals
• Define, build, complete, and analyze integrated marketing plans that use a variety of channels and a clear account-based strategy
• Manage marketing budget, prioritize and balance investments and work with key collaborators to set clear plan goals
• Build and lead strategic marketing relationships internally and externally to drive alignment
• Ensure regular pipeline inspection and opportunity deal tracking to drive predictability and scale across all regions

What you'll bring with you

• Experience effectively leading national partner relationships
• Skilled at establishing strong working relationships across teams, with partners and one-to-one
• Successful project management, time management and cross-functional coordination skills including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated and resourceful creative problem solver who is very diligent with outstanding interpersonal skills
• Clear, effective communication style across all levels of an org
• Curiosity and a drive to experiment with new creative marketing approaches
• Passionate about indirect sales and the partner ecosystem
• Ability to approach challenges with a ‘what if” mentality
• Expert understanding of a PRM system, preferably Zift
• Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.com
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as DOMO to review and analyze results

Education and experience

• 10+ years working in partner marketing within B2B software/SaaS business; national account management preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or a compelling story

Additional notes

The base salary range for this role is between $122,400 USD and $177,500 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.

While our office is located in Herndon, VA, we are open to those based remotely.
