Peloton Interactive, Inc. seeks Sr. Manager Financial Reporting, Special Projects in New York, NY:
Job Duties: Play a lead project role as the accounting process owner on the implementation of Oracle Cloud EPM (financial close and consolidation, management reporting, master data management, account reconciliations); define business requirements and help architect future state solutions that modernize financial reporting capabilities through automation and use of technology. Drive the design and optimization of Peloton’s chart of accounts (CoA) and finance master data in line with evolving business needs and best practices; support ongoing maintenance of CoA. Act as a subject matter expert (“SME”) with respect to our internal and external financial reporting, with a strong command of underlying data structures and the end-to-end data flow from upstream systems (general ledger, etc.); operate as a “super user” of new EPM solution and facilitate training and knowledge sharing across the accounting organization. Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver key milestones and activities; Collaborate with and champion agreement from accounting leaders, peers and cross-functional partners to ensure solutions meet stakeholder requirements, implications and trade offs are well understood, and decisions are made in an efficient manner. Lead optimization of record-to-report process through identification and implementation of close-optimization and process simplification opportunities across accounting and reporting processes; demonstrate ability to lead end-to-end improvement initiatives from ideation through deployment. Drive continuous process improvement projects and other value add initiatives. Improve upon or create new process documentation (SOPs, process maps, process flows) for “to be” financial reporting, close management, and consolidations processes. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Financial and business forecasting and analysis using statistical, data mining, and business intelligence tools; (2) advanced Excel spreadsheet modeling to aid managerial decision making; (3) managing finance drive projects including project design, budgeting, and implementation; (4) reporting and presenting business analysis recommendations. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $190,757.00 - $227,805.00 per annum.
