Licensed Mental Health Counselor (CADC Certified) / Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor with CADC certification and QMHP credentials to join our mental health services team. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions to address clients' mental health and substance use concerns

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and needs

- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, social workers, and case managers

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with licensing and organizational standards

- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed

- Educate clients and their families about mental health, substance use, and available resources

 

Development and oversight of substance abuse related programming

Running groups/1:1

Documentation

Supervision of MHP staff

On call rotation


Skills and Qualifications:

- CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) certification

- QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) credential

- Valid state licensure as a mental health counselor or equivalent

- Proven experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a clinical or community setting

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorder treatment modalities

- Compassionate, patient, and culturally sensitive approach to client care

- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
