Mission of the Role:
As a Senior Technical Accounting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and providing technical expertise in complex accounting matters. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to process improvements, and make a significant impact on the organization's financial operations.
Key Objectives of this Role:
- Perform in-depth research and analysis of complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Provide guidance and support in the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address financial implications of business transactions.
- Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation for external auditors.
- Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
- Support the preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10-Ks and 10-Qs.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and assess their potential impact on the organization.

Key Year One Deliverables:
- Whitepapers for any special accounting decisions made throughout the year.
- Contribution to the creation and maintenance of accounting policies
- Assist with trainings on technical accounting matters
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical accounting roles, preferably within a publicly traded company or Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex accounting issues.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
Reporting Structure: The Senior Technical Accounting Analyst will report to the Technical Accounting Manager
