We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Valet Supervisor to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in valet or transportation services, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting. As a Valet Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients and visitors receive a warm and professional welcome, making their experience at our hospital as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Pay: $21.22/hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Responsibilities:- Supervise Valet Attendants: Oversee the valet team at various hospital entrances, including the main entrance, emergency entrance, and any specialized areas.
- Customer Service: Ensure that valet staff provide a professional and caring attitude towards patients and visitors, as they are often the first point of contact.
- Daily Operations: Assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure smooth daily operations of the valet services.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the valet area presents a positive image of the hospital.
- Training and Onboarding: Train new staff members, conduct regular performance reviews, and ensure all staff are familiar with hospital policies and procedures.
- Complaint Resolution: Handle and resolve any complaints or issues from patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate parking logs, manage inventory, and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
- Coordination with Departments: Communicate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless coordination of services.
- Incident Management: Investigate and report any accidents or mishaps involving valet services.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some employers may prefer additional education in a related field.
- Experience: At least three years of experience in valet or transportation services, with a minimum of one year in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to handle stressful situations and provide a high level of service.
- Licenses: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to be insured by the hospital's risk management department.
