Overview

Responsible for planning the ordering, receiving, distribution and storage of supplies and equipment for the Surgical Services departments. Develop and maintain appropriate records, whether computer or manual, for documentation of purchase orders, inventory control and department requisitions. Works with Surgical Services and Materials Management teams to ensure accurate department supply par levels are maintained in a cost effective manner adhering to the standards of the CLEAR Bin Inventory System. 

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

Education:  High School diploma or equivalent, college credits or associates degree preferable.

 

Experience: Must be computer literate with experience in receiving, distribution and inventory management.  Requires the ability to communicate, multitask and prioritize using good decision-making skills.  Prior knowledge of Lawson, CPSI and the Clear Bin Supply System is a plus.

 

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred. Extensive communication with various department leaders is required therefore good communication skills are vital in ensuring that we provide excellent support to customers at all times.
