The Position

Join the forefront of innovation in the pharmaceutical industry as a Senior Teamlead Global Case Management. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a dedicated team, ensuring the seamless collection, documentation, and reporting of product safety information in compliance with global regulations. You'll be instrumental in managing adverse event case workflows in our Global Safety Database, contributing to the regulatory compliance of our PSPV Operations. Tasks & responsibilities

 

• Leading and ensuring continuous process improvement will be a key part of your role. You will accomplish this through the development and use of processing analytics, and by setting up, driving, and overseeing process and system improvement initiatives.
• In collaboration with the system vendor, System Business Solution, and other pharmaceutical companies, you will design new features and user requirements for the Global Safety Platform. Sharing BI experience across industry partners will be crucial to ensure a common development of the safety platform in the multi-tenant setting.
• As the leader of cross-functional working groups on case processing related topics, you will also serve as the contact point at Boehringer Ingelheim for case processing implementation in the safety database. This role will allow you to influence the technical development and harmonization of processes for all pharmaceutical companies using the Global Safety Platform.
• Overseeing and developing Senior PSPV Operations staff will fall under your purview. This includes those involved in vendor oversight, process management, and reporting of individual adverse events for investigational and marketed drugs to assure compliance with global regulations.
• Participation in the preparation and management of regulatory inspections within PSPV will be expected.
• Finally, you will have the opportunity to deputize and substitute for the Global Lead Case Management in strategic initiatives within PSPV, leading Global Case Management in Ingelheim, and in leading working groups for continuous improvement.

Requirements

 

• Master's degree in nursing, pharmacy, or other health care/life science related profession, or in medical information science/data science.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Several years of experience in an international work environment and exceptional intercultural competence.
• Experience in processing clinical safety data in a pharmaceutical industry setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of system development and testing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively address issues with inter/intra departments.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Proficiency in electronic data capture tools (e.g. Lifesphere MultiVigilance (LSMV)) and Microsoft Office-based applications.
