How you will create impact: 

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Remediation Lead to oversee a team that will address and mitigate cloud security risks across all AIG Cloud environments. This role will provide technical leadership and enhanced governance to ensure secure cloud operations and architecture across the enterprise.

This position will report to the Head of Cloud Engineering and will require a deep technical expertise in cloud security, as well as the ability to lead a team in mitigating risks at scale.

• Lead the identification, prioritization, and remediation of cloud security risks across AIG cloud environments
• Coordinate with Infrastructure engineering and application teams to design and implement secure remediation solutions aligned with industry best practices
• Work closely with the ISO organization for defining and approving the security blueprints
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on remediating vulnerabilities and policy violations surfaced by CSPM and threat detection tools
• Provide technical leadership and guidance for remediating baseline configurations across the platform
• Design and implement automated remediation solutions using scripting and cloud native automation tools
• Define IAM least privilege resource policies working closely with the ISO organization
• Create executive level reporting and metrics to track remediation progress and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Act as a subject matter expert and advisor to internal teams on cloud security remediation strategies and secure architecture.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of security and continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years focused on cloud security and remediation leadership
• Deep expertise in AWS and Azure, with knowledge of platform-specific security services
• Proven experience leading remediation programs in large scale, multi cloud environments
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
• Strong understanding of security compliance standards and frameworks
• Experience with vulnerability management and cloud native security tools
• Cloud security certification preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams.
