<ul> <li>Full Time Permanent position</li> <li>Hybrid role based in our City Centre offices</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>What we offer</b></p> <p><br/> We have embraced a hybrid working model for most of our positions, which means that you can enjoy a balanced approach of working from home for part of the week and working from the office for the remainder of the week.</p> <p><br/> We offer a comprehensive benefits package including competitive salaries and bonuses, robust Learning and Development support, excellent Defined Contribution pension and comprehensive Wellbeing initiatives and support to name but a few. </p> <p><br/> Further details on our benefits package can be accessed here <a href="https://life-careers.com/irishlife/content/Benefits/?locale=en_GB">Benefits (life-careers.com)</a></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <h2><b>Role Overview</b></h2> <p> </p> <p>As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work within a collaborative team, driving initiatives that align with business objectives and ensure that technical and process standards are met to deliver business value. <br/> You will contribute to the creation of new business solutions, define clear problem statements, and develop strategic requirements for system and process improvements. <br/> You will also act as a bridge between business and IT teams, leading and supporting the business in the development and implementation of new systems.<br/> Your responsibilities will include performing detailed process mapping, identifying gaps and opportunities, facilitating workshops with cross-functional teams, and guiding the project lifecycle from ideation to implementation. <br/> You will also mentor junior team members and provide direction across a variety of projects within the organization.</p> <h2><b>Team Background</b></h2> <p> </p> <p>Irish Life Digital &amp; Technology is looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Systems Analyst to join their team. <br/> This role will see you working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership across various initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, quality, and performance within the business. <br/> You will be responsible for leading and managing multiple strategic projects and collaborating across different frameworks including Agile, continuous improvement, and larger waterfall projects. <br/> The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be a key contributor to the design and implementation of new IT solutions, process improvements, and system enhancements across Irish Life.<br/>  </p> <h2><b>More specific responsibilities will include</b></h2> <p> </p> <p>•    Business Process &amp; Data Analysis: Understand and map current processes, identify areas of improvement, and work closely with business stakeholders to design new solutions.<br/> •    Solution Design &amp; Requirements Gathering: Work with IT leads to propose and document business and technical solutions, ensuring clarity and alignment across stakeholders.<br/> •    Facilitation &amp; Stakeholder Engagement: Lead workshops with cross-functional teams to elicit new business requirements and ensure clear communication throughout the project.<br/> •    Project &amp; Backlog Management: Manage strategic pillar projects, drive completion of business analysis deliverables, and ensure that all requirements are clearly documented and understood.<br/> •    System Development &amp; Testing: Support IT Development and QA teams during the design, build, and testing phases to ensure the final solution meets business needs.<br/> •    Change Management &amp; Implementation: Assist in preparing the business for change, ensuring smooth transitions and adequate documentation during implementation.<br/> •    Mentorship &amp; Continuous Improvement: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous improvement.</p> <h2><b>What you will need to be successful in the role</b></h2> <p> </p> <p>•    7+ years of relevant experience: Proven track record of success as a Business Analyst, preferably within an IT and change management environment.<br/> •    Methodologies &amp; Tools: Experience in both Waterfall and Agile project delivery frameworks; skilled in process mapping, data analysis, and IT Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.<br/> •    Excellent Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, with a focus on clear, concise documentation.<br/> •    Leadership &amp; Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead projects, mentor team members, and build strong relationships across the business and IT teams.<br/> •    Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail, ensuring that technical solutions meet business needs while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.<br/> •    Commercial Awareness: Ability to make judgements that reflect a clear understanding of the commercial implications of decisions.
