As a DMLT Intern, you will work with SAP Data Management & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) experts to understand the portfolio and DMLT’s integrated toolchain environment, focusing on evaluating, streamlining, and accelerating core customer engagement workflows—from incoming requests through solution development to quote-ready deliverables, including plans, resource estimates, and sourcing constructs.
Your primary objective will be to understand current (“as-is”) operational practices and uncover opportunities for efficiency improvements. Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze the end-to-end lifecycle of ROMs, risk reviews, and approval processes to identify opportunities for automation and acceleration.
- Leverage SAP DMLT tools and integrated toolchains to improve data flow and minimize manual intervention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather feedback on operational challenges and validate improvement opportunities.
- Present structured, data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance process efficiency and scalability.
- Assist in developing and validating AI use cases that improve operational effectiveness.
- Support integration of AI capabilities into existing tools and services (APIs, microservices).
- Research emerging AI trends (LLMs, retrieval, evaluation) and summarize applicability to DMLT scenarios.
What you bring:
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. We iterate fast and deploy to production quickly. The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and methods is essential.
