About the role
Responsibilities
- Works under general supervision in the preparation and serving of patient trays.
- Prepares late trays for patients as well as between meal nourishments.
- Assists, as necessary, in the cafeteria line and dish room.
- Adheres to local, state, federal and other regulatory agency standards, codes and laws.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and write well enough to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to effectively deal with a variety of people.
- Ability to use independent judgement which is usually acquired through a completion of a high school education.
- Three months on-the-job training required prior to assuming full responsibilities.
