The Commercial Excellence & Pricing team supports EMEA Terumo Interventional Systems (TIS) business in delivering their revenue, market share and profitability commitments by enabling an insight driven organization and by driving our GTM transformation.

Job Summary

 

As the Senior Manager of the TIS Strategy & Transformation Office, you will drive the annual strategic planning process for TIS EMEA. You will work in partnership with the TIS Leadership Team (LT) and Senior Vice-President (SVP) to facilitate continuous development and adjustments of your long-range strategic plan. Additionally, you will coordinate and co-lead the execution of strategic initiatives, such as Go-To-Market (GTM) excellence and business development, with a specific focus on transformation and growth. Ensuring continuous alignment between your TIS EMEA strategic initiatives and the overall strategic plan will be a key responsibility.

Given the constantly evolving market conditions, you will need to align and coordinate across functions, countries, and Terumo Europe (TE). This will require a constant realignment of key initiative execution and the TIS EMEA strategic plan. Your collaboration with all TIS functions will be crucial to managing the transformation program. Working in partnership with TE PMO (strategic planning, change management, project managers, and portfolio management) and our TE Transformation Coach (part of the HR organization, focusing on systemic change), you will optimize planning and synchronization of initiatives while encouraging employee engagement and commitment.  This position reports to the Sr Dir Commercial Excellence & Pricing EMEA of TIS. 

Job Responsibilities


Strategic Planning:

You will work closely with the TIS LT and SVP to formalize the business’s long-term vision. You will coordinate the strategic-planning processes, support strategy development, and translate it for people across functions and business units.
Your responsibility includes ensuring continuous alignment (and adjustment) between TIS EMEA strategic initiatives and the TIS EMEA strategic map.
You will identify TE initiatives with TIS integration points, understand their impacts, and integrate them into the TIS transformation program.
You should secure strong sponsorship from relevant stakeholders.
 

Enable and Support Transformation:

You will collaborate with and leverage frameworks from the TE Transformation Coach and Change Coach. You will formalize a transformation roadmap covering different change aspects and coordinate/co-lead its execution with the TIS LT. You will prepare, implement, and sustain the change by defining a roadmap, facilitating conversations, and implementing transformational actions. You will develop trusting relationships with all TIS and TE functions. You will actively engage the TIS EMEA Leadership team to resolve issues collaboratively. You will set expectations and engage TE support functions to build capabilities needed for the TIS transformation. You will ensure all aspects of the transformation, from a people standpoint, are considered as systemic change. You will partner with our TE Transformation Coach to define and execute a compelling transformation roadmap that addresses the organization’s needs holistically. You will understand and escalate upskilling and governance needs in the organization.
 

Business Initiatives:

You will participate in meetings with the SVP, TIS LT, and other senior leaders. You will come up with creative business ideas and review data to monitor progress across business initiatives. You will coordinate/co-lead TIS EMEA strategic initiatives execution with a specific focus on transformation and growth. You will manage TIS EMEA project consolidation, valorization, and prioritization. You will coordinate TIS EMEA strategic initiatives execution, aligning all stakeholders in partnership with TE PMO. You will facilitate executive reviews and necessary strategic decision-making.
 

Risk Management:

You will identify strategic risks and help reduce them.
 

Liaison:

You will act as a liaison across TIS departments and TE support functions.

Profile Description


Strong Strategic Thinking and Planning Abilities:

You bring advanced business skills, including strong presentation skills, strategic planning, financial, and organizational acumen.
You enjoy both strategy and driving execution, with a strong process orientation.
You think outside-in, manage complexity, and have a global perspective.
You have solid experience in project management and can function in a self-directed manner with a high degree of autonomy.
Experience with the Hoshin Kanri methodology is a plus.
