Maintenance Technician

We are a rapidly growing fast casual restaurant group across multiple locations. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician ready to bring their skills and interest in the industry to support our current restaurant locations and is eager to grow with us.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drive Company trucks with various trailers to restaurant locations for construction projects or equipment deliveries
• Work with maintenance team and restaurant managers to manage several projects simultaneously
• Prioritize projects to accomplish the most important tasks first, sometimes reprioritizing several times throughout the day
• Utilize basic hand and power tools to complete various projects
• Works with Maintenance team to perform building Maintenance including internal building, appliances, and grounds repairs
• Travel to restaurant locations for needed repairs and maintenance 
• Snow plow usage and snow removal as needed during the winter months 
• Other duties as assigned

Projects include, but are not limited to:

• Basic paint job 
• Full building remodel 
• Building a Pergola 
• Helping our gardening team put in new plants
• Fixing restaurant appliances and equipment

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent time management skills.
• Basic understanding of all trades- carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling to light plumbing, irrigation, electrical
• Positive can-do attitude
• Solid communication skills including interpersonal skills, team communication, and working with partners and clients. 
• Strong work ethic
• Working knowledge in repairing appliances and/or HVAC
• Proven customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to read English and comprehend simple instructions
• Self-Starter/works well independently 

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience preferred

Work Environment

• Prolonged periods standing, walking, and working around kitchen equipment
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. 
• Must be comfortable working long hours, including nights and weekends.
• Noise level is usually moderate

Hourly rate $22 - $25 per hour
