We are a rapidly growing fast casual restaurant group across multiple locations. Our brand is known for its innovative approach to dining, commitment to quality, and a culture that champions growth, learning, and operational excellence. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician ready to bring their skills and interest in the industry to support our current restaurant locations and is eager to grow with us.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drive Company trucks with various trailers to restaurant locations for construction projects or equipment deliveries
- Work with maintenance team and restaurant managers to manage several projects simultaneously
- Prioritize projects to accomplish the most important tasks first, sometimes reprioritizing several times throughout the day
- Utilize basic hand and power tools to complete various projects
- Works with Maintenance team to perform building Maintenance including internal building, appliances, and grounds repairs
- Travel to restaurant locations for needed repairs and maintenance
- Snow plow usage and snow removal as needed during the winter months
- Other duties as assigned
Projects include, but are not limited to:
- Basic paint job
- Full building remodel
- Building a Pergola
- Helping our gardening team put in new plants
- Fixing restaurant appliances and equipment
Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent time management skills.
- Basic understanding of all trades- carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling to light plumbing, irrigation, electrical
- Positive can-do attitude
- Solid communication skills including interpersonal skills, team communication, and working with partners and clients.
- Strong work ethic
- Working knowledge in repairing appliances and/or HVAC
- Proven customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read English and comprehend simple instructions
- Self-Starter/works well independently
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of experience preferred
Work Environment
- Prolonged periods standing, walking, and working around kitchen equipment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must be comfortable working long hours, including nights and weekends.
- Noise level is usually moderate
Hourly rate $22 - $25 per hour
