Department Overview

Our Audit service line is transforming the way in which we audit, through the adoption of analytics, automation and AI, and we are on looking for a strong senior data analyst to help supercharge our journey! You will be part of the team that designs, builds and deploys cutting edge analytical solutions to bring insights to the fingertips of our audit teams and clients. This position will give you exposure to some exciting industries such as Technology, Manufacturing and Telecommunication whilst also giving you the opportunity to collaborate with clients both locally and globally. We are looking for passionate individuals, who are self-motivated, capable of using their own initiative and have the ability to identify opportunities to deploy analytics, automation or AI within our processes.

Main responsibilities:

Data Transformation & Workflow Design

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust data workflows using tools such as Alteryx and Python to automate audit procedures.

  • Design and configure fund reconciliation templates and oversee the upload of relevant datasets.

  • Ensure that workflows are optimized for scalability, accuracy, and performance.

Deliverables & Automation Execution

  • Manage the delivery of automated outputs including audit reports, data visualizations, exception logs, and reconciliation files.

  • Push data through established pipelines, validate results, and troubleshoot any issues to ensure functionality and completeness.

  • Perform automated reconciliations and support audit teams in interpreting results or resolving manual reconciliation gaps.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes to Audit Managers and other senior stakeholders.

  • Act as a liaison between the data analytics team and audit delivery teams to understand data requirements and align on priorities.

Review & Quality Assurance

  • Review and validate the outputs and processes of junior team members to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to standards.

  • Guide junior staff in best practices related to data handling, transformation logic, and reconciliation techniques.

  • Conduct peer reviews and provide coaching and feedback to support their development.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes or introduce new tools that improve efficiency and audit quality.

  • Contribute to internal documentation and development standards to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
