Description
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Supervisor for our heavy equipment business unit focused mostly on the construction and agricultural industries. As our Parts Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of parts for our fleet of heavy equipment. You will work closely with our service team to ensure that we have the necessary parts to keep our customers’ equipment in operation and to assist in coordinating Warranty Claims.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTS SUPERVISOR:
- Manage the procurement of parts for our heavy equipment fleet.
- Oversee the storage and distribution of parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of equipment.
- Train and supervise parts department staff as we grow.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Support warranty claims administration.

WAGE RATE: $28 - $35/hour based on your experience, plus participation in our discretionary bonus program
Requirements
Required Skills - to help ensure your success as a parts supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in parts procurement and sales.
- Proven ability to coach, train, and influence others.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
- Completion of a drug screen and background check.
Desired Skills
- College degree in a related field
- Proven ability to coach, train, and influence others.
- Experience procuring and selling heavy equipment parts.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
- Most of the day is spent in our warehouse working within a fence enclosed parts area with high ceilings.
- Approximately 50% is spent standing, squatting, kneeling, or moving about the work areas that can fluctuate in temperature from hot to cold.
- Approximately 50% is spent seated or standing at a desk, working at a computer terminal that is also used for messaging and phone calls.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds without help.
