Salesforce Engineering Lead

Location: Remote

We are looking for a Salesforce Engineering Lead to help us build software solutions for entrepreneurs worldwide. In this role, you will lead a team and build software solutions that enable Techstars to supporting promising entrepreneurs across the globe to the resources they need to break through, build and grow their businesses.  

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead a team of Salesforce developers and admins in development of custom applications on top of the Salesforce Platform and integrations with other software and components
• Build and manage a high performing agile squad
• Coach and mentor the team to ensure skills and deliverables are in alignment with organization’s business needs, values and standards. 
• Create a shared sense of purpose to accomplish the business strategy goals. Foster a culture of open and productive communication and collaboration
• Partner with the product team to ensure successful adoption of solutions by your customers
• Design, build and deploy quality software applications in an agile team environment contributing to the code base at least 25% of the time.
• Hold the development teams accountable for quality of code, achieving committed work within a sprint or by project deadlines 
• Use metrics to continuously improve team practices and outputs 
• Support your solutions in production, maintain uptime and SLA of deployed software systems
• Execute full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, APIs and Force.com applications

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with hands on development in highly customized Salesforce instances
• 2+ years of leading and managing teams
• Experienced in conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.
• Advanced knowledge and practical experience with application design principles, patterns, and practices in order to provide immediate short and long term solutions
• Track record of managing performance and potential of employees to deliver results as a team
• Knowledge of Security and Sharing Best Practices
• Experience in developing and refactoring custom Apex, LWC, Lightning UI and Visualforce components
• Experience in migrating data and customizations across Salesforce environments
• Experience implementing Salesforce CRM
• Experience in defining and evolving data models underpinning Salesforce operations 
• Experience with Experience Cloud
• Experience working with Salesforce APIs and integrating Salesforce with other systems
• Passionate about the user experience
• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certified
• Salesforce JavaScript Developer 1 certified
• Salesforce Platform Developer 2 certified
• Experienced in working within the Financial or Legal industries
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Compensation range: $150,000 - $170,000 + 10% Bonus
