Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a SAP SD/WM Functional Specialist to join our Digital Information Management team based in Dulles, VA.

You will be a domain expert to advise, deliver and support SAP and SynQ Warehouse applications. Advise on the Autostore and SynQ application and the integration to the SAP systems. Be a technology expert in support of the SAP ERP system specifically Sales & Distribution module and related outbound logistics functionalities in SAP. Support shipping applications like Pitney Bowes which integrates with SAP outbound logistics.

Your working environment:

Located just five miles from Washington Dulles International Airport, and 30 miles from the U.S. Capitol, this site serves as our major parts distribution hub in the Americas. The facility is a 24/7 fulfillment center, with an Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support desk, and Quality Assurance (QA) operations. To best support our customers, our 248,000-square-foot warehouse features a brand-new technology called Autostore, seeking to grow efficiency.

Your challenges:

• Understand and support SynQ application for new functionalities or application changes as needed by the business team.
• Support the integration of SAP to SynQ application.
• Identify any issues and errors arising out of SynQ application and work on resolving the issues with the relevant SAP teams.
• Represent IM for the design, testing and deployment of new functionality for the SynQ application.
• Support SAP sales and distribution activities for the business domain for North America.
• Solve and provide onsite support for the warehouse team for inbound, quality and outbound activities.
• Coordinate with the SAP support teams in Europe for any functionality enhancement deployments, unit testing and data migration for the region.
• Support system updates / routine patches and testing.
• Analyze and diagnose any SAP interface related issues on the shipping application to ensure business continuity.
