Pressed Roots is the first silk blow-out bar specializing in textured hair. Combining certified textured hair expertise, nurturing care for hair health and true luxury hospitality touches, we aim to break down the barriers that have held women of color back from feeling their best. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Take care of all types of textured hair care by performing the shampoo, condition, and other pre-blowout services

• Maintain salon cleanliness - sweeping, inventory, cleaning brushes, washing and folding towels, etc

• Ensure comfortability of clients while at the shampoo bowl

• Sell add-on services, retail products, and our VIP memberships

• Provide a luxury, customer experience through client interactions - we also serve mimosas and other beverages!

Qualifications

• A current or recent cosmetology student looking to learn about the beauty and care of textured hair
• Phase 5 of cosmetology school

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• A strong work ethic with a “go-getter” attitude
