Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Maintain constant communication with the kitchen to meet the needs of the guests and provide maximum guest satisfaction.*

• Work as part of a team in an efficient, professional, and guest related manner to handle food and beverage service*

• Take orders, present orders, keep the guest table clean and orderly (including clearing and resetting tables and floor/table maintenance as needed), and ensure that all the opening, on-going, and closing side work is accomplished in an effective manner.*

• Restock all dining and service areas, clear and reset tables, complete daily and weekly cleaning sheets, ensure that condiments are amply supplied on the guest's table prior to the guests taking their seats, requisition supplies, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.*

• Handling cashier duties and self banking. 

• Requisitioning supplies.

• Answer questions from guests, offer suggestions, and handle guest complaints.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• 2 years of high volume serving or bartending experience required

• Must be able to pass the accredited alcohol server test (RAMP) within the probation period.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must display a professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines

• Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times

• Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with guests

• Must be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignments in a high stress environment

• Must be proficient in the knowledge of all food, food-related items, and beverage items (beverage items to include beer, wine cocktails, spirits, and cordials)..

• This is a union position, and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet schedule requirements, which will most likely require working flexible hours
