Job Description

Central Transport is currently seeking Class A CDL Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers/Linehaul Drivers at our location in Evansville IN. If you are looking to join a company that offers consistent routes while operating modern equipment and being home every night/Day, this is the opportunity for you.

Our Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers/Linehaul Drivers are the face of our company and vital to our customer relations. They are responsible for ensuring that our customers freight is delivered on time and damage free. The Day position involves making 10-15 stops within a 50 mile radius. The shift would end with dock work loading and unloading using a forklift. The night position consists of going Terminal to Terminal Delivery and dropping off freight, Dock work is also included

Competitive Compensation: A starting wage of $1700-2000

Hourly rate is going to be 29.00 for the day shift

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-6Months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Endorsements: HazMat and Tanker endorsements are required after 90 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• No failed or refused DOT Drugs screens in a lifetime
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test
