Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Career Model Program Lead to join our Global Total Rewards team. This role will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include a combination of in-office and virtual/telecommute work.
Core Responsibilities:
Overall Program Stewardship
- Serve as global program manager for the AECOM Career Model, overseeing all core elements:
- Job Profile Catalogue, including Job Profile Summaries and Job Profile naming conventions
- Job Family, Job Family Group, and Job Track structure
- Job Level Criteria
- Update and/or develop governance and routines for career model maintenance and updates, including Job Profile additions, changes, and enhancements
- Evaluate level of adoption globally in collaboration with the HR operations team
- Create a strategy in support of improved adoption addressing employee, people manager, and HR stakeholder groups
- Continue to develop education and programming in support of growing adoption, including partnership with the Talent and Communications teams
- Build a Career Model project management structure, streamlining how we approach related projects, including defining clear roles, responsibilities, and stakeholders for the larger project team
- Actively build and leverage diverse project teams to divide and conquer higher urgency items, utilizing the larger HR/Rewards/Talent teams and business leaders
- Actively identify and address evolving Career Model related needs through relationship building and partnership with the business, HR ops, Talent, and Rewards teams and market research/benchmarking
- Working with the Workday/Technology teams to facilitate updates to and maintain the Career Path Navigator
Connecting the Rewards and Talent Teams
- Work closely with the Talent team to continue to evolve the AECOM Career Model in connection with our overall AECOM strategy
- Serve as consultant, advisor, and project team leader or member on joint projects
- Identify interdependencies between Talent and Rewards teams, keeping both teams informed and communicating on overlapping interests and key priorities
Other Key Responsibilities
- Leader on our global Rewards team
- Key COE collaborator responsible for driving consultative, strategic partnership across the enterprise
- Develops and oversees core programming and functions for the COE
- Works closely with the delivery team to ensure programming is supportive and effective
- Works closely with the systems/technology team to deliver and maintain shared systems and tools
- Receives and responds to feedback flowing through/from delivery team

- Actively and proactively building relationships with business and HR stakeholders to develop and deliver best in class programming
- Leveraging available technology to drive efficient and effective process and provide tool based solutions
- Continuously documenting and improving processes, eliminating manual and duplicative efforts
- Cleary and consistently defining the handoff between the Incentive Comp team and the Delivery team on all key items
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS plus at least 10 years of relevant experience including management of a multi-tiered job catalog/framework and career pathing, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including at least 2 years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel including experience with V lookups is strongly preferred
- Experience with similarly large, complex, global organizations is preferred.
