Switchboard Team Lead

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Switchboard Operator to join our switchboard team!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

Responsible for providing prompt, courteous and effective response to all calls into Park Nicollet Health Services through the switchboard. This includes routing calls to appropriate departments, providing patient information, paging on call physicians, code processing, and related communication services. The incumbent will be expected to comply with all Head, Heart Together competencies as related to switchboard duties.

Work Schedule:
FTE 1.0, 40 hours per week, day/evening, every other weekend.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year client facing customer service required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some post-secondary education preferred. 
• Call center or Switchboard experience preferred. 
• Experience with computers and both word processing and spreadsheet software preferred. 
• Ability to type 35 WPM preferred.
