The Senior Manager, Data and People Analytics reports to the Director, HR Operations and is responsible for oversight of the of the end to end reporting and data analytics for the employee lifecycle, and developing a workstream of business consultation using actionable insights to help inspire change.

Responsibilities

  • Defines Reporting and Analytics priorities and mature the function from report delivery to an insights and data science service.
  • Act as a consultative partner to leaders and HR Business Partners to interpret insights and identify possible actions through analysis of insights surfaced through Workday People Analytics and other reporting, recommending data-driven solutions and strategies for People initiatives.
  • Ensures key feedback and reporting is shared with the appropriate audience (e.g., executives, HRBP’s, SMEs)
  • Complete the people analytics communication strategy to share people related insights across the company, leading the organization towards a data-driven and insight-led culture.
  • Harness data to measure performance on employee engagement, development, recruitment, retention, work efficiency, compensation matters, and return on investment in talent. Help identify key People metrics and develop benchmarks to measure progress and align People objectives with overall organizational goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standard processes, and emerging technologies in HR analytics and reporting
  • Conduct statistical analysis and develop predictive models to forecast future People trends and outcomes.
  • Project leads and coordinates data deliverables that cross multiple teams.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, data modeling, statistical analysis, forecasts and predictions, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience supporting a global organization.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy of results.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with business collaborators to influence, discuss and explain analytics to non-technical partners.
  • Experience with Workday, including an understanding of the system data structure and system capabilities as well as hands on experience with one or more of the following Workday tools: Workday Reporting, Advanced Dashboards, Discovery Boards, People Analytics, Slides, Worksheets.
  • Able to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities.
  • Solid project management skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong teammate.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Knowledge of human resource practices, techniques and standards
  •  Superior MS Excel (including functions, pivot tables, macros)

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000.  The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
