ABOUT THE ROLE
As a fast-growing startup focused on revolutionizing healthcare, we’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and strategic leader to join our team as Director of Talent Strategy & Operations. You’ll have a passion for the People function, even if no experience.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- You'll lead strategic initiatives across the People Department to enhance operational efficiency and improve People team performance, and process and tools utilization.
- Areas you’ll focus on are recruiting, human resources, internal events, provider licensing and credentialing.
- You'll work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute data-driven strategic planning for the People department.
- You’ll own driving the operations and execution of large-scale strategic People initiatives that affect the entire company such as revamping talent assessment, implementing talent upskilling initiatives, and driving People team engagement approach.
- You'll foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging innovation and agility in our processes and procedures.
- You’ll own the technical infrastructure around recruiting, HR, provider credentialing, provider licensing, compensation research, and compensation banding.
Here's who you'll manage and report to
- This role reports directly to the Chief People Officer and involves people management over time
- You'll provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to your People team teammates, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their capacity to contribute to the organization's mission.
ABOUT YOU
We would love to hear from you if you have the following or equivalent experience:
- 5+ years of proven, successful experience, with 1.5+ years of that experience in management consulting or as a chief of staff
- 1+ years experience in an environment that has a rigorous approach to hiring and managing talent
- Demonstrated experience driving operational initiatives
- Familiarity with analytical methods, and their application in driving business decisions.
- Healthcare industry experience is not required.
What technical skills you’ll need:
- Data Analysis: Must have a robust ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data relevant to the organization's operations. This includes the ability to make sound decisions based on these analyses.
What behavioral skills you’ll need:
- Decision-Making: The analytical leader must have excellent decision-making skills with the ability to make informed and rational decisions even under pressure. They should also have the skill to guide their team toward making data-driven decisions.
- Operations Management: The ability to manage multiple projects and processes concurrently, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising the quality of the work, is essential. This includes allocating resources effectively and managing risks proactively. Demonstrated adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
COMPENSATION RANGE
$150,000-215,000 + benefits + equity based upon experience, expertise, and market location
