The Work You Will Do:
Surveyor II - District Five / District Design / Surveying and Mapping Office
This position will perform quality assurance reviews of control surveys, right of way maps, parcel sketches, and other right of way related surveys and maps & assists in the preparation of right of way control surveys and right of way maps in adherence with Chapter 472 Florida Statutes, Minimum Technical Standards Chapter 5J17 Florida Administrative Code, Department policies and procedures, including compliance with Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) standards.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Performs Quality Assurance reviews of control surveys, right of way maps, parcel sketches, and other right of way related surveys and maps prepared by in-house and consultant staff. Ensures proper judgment has been used in establishing correct property boundaries in accordance with the intent of the deed of record. Checks geometric accuracy and completeness, verifies adherence with Chapter 472 Florida Statutes, Minimum Technical Standards Chapter 5J17 Florida Administrative Code, Department policies and procedures, including compliance with Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) standards.
