POSITION SUMMARY: This position supervises assigned Quality Analysts and facilitates development, implementation, support and evaluation of population health information systems at PMS. Works effectively through all phases of the System’s Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure the development of information systems that meet organizational requirements. Works closely with nursing, providers, Information Technology and PMS Leadership and functions as a liaison, developing requirements, and coordinating system implementation and maintenance for PMS personnel using appropriate information system applications.

REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Healthcare, Behavioral Health (e.g., Social Work, Psychology), Nursing, Education, or Business). High school diploma/GED plus four years of related education and/or experience may substitute for degree.
  • Two years’ experience in healthcare data management.
  • One year supervisory experience preferred.
  • Computer experience required including proficiency in spreadsheets, report production, and databases. 
  • Clinical Informatics degree or certification preferred.
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR) experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and successfully manage complex projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to coach and train staff.
