As a key member of PCI’s Problem Management Team, the Senior Technical Program Manager - Problem Management Data Analysis for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure plays a crucial role in proactively identifying and eliminating risks that could impact our valued customers. This role is dedicated to driving excellence in the post-incident learning process, taking ownership of programs that ensure service teams deeply inspect failures after incidents, and implement the right corrective and preventative actions. The Senior Technical Program Manager will conduct in-depth analysis of incidents within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to identify trends and operational anti-patterns. Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of incidents within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to identify trends and operational anti-patterns.
- Utilize data analysis and reporting skills to develop taxonomies for categorizing incidents and their root causes.
- Drive the creation of a comprehensive incident data repository and establish protocols for continuous updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize operational improvements based on incident analysis.
- Develop and implement a robust framework for capturing durable learnings from incidents, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain a new service checklist based on insights gained from incident data, facilitating scalable consumption by OCI teams.
- Provide actionable recommendations to enhance service delivery, operational priorities, and incident response strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager in a cloud infrastructure environment, with a focus on incident analysis.
- Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and creating taxonomies for incident categorization.
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and its operational aspects.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and implement improvements based on incident learnings.
- Excellent communication skills to convey insights, priorities, and recommendations to various stakeholders.
- Track record of successfully implementing scalable processes for incident analysis and learning.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).
- Experience with incident response frameworks and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud service delivery and associated challenges of scale.
Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.
Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range: from $104,000 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
