Sonographer (Ultrasound Tech)-PRN

Description

SUMMARY:

Performs ultrasound imaging procedures on all patients to provide interpreting Radiologist an accurate clinical history of patient signs and symptoms.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Responsible for performing all patient ultrasound imaging procedures.
2. Gathers patient history data and completes worksheets with exam findings for Radiologist.
3. Performs general upkeep and housekeeping of exam rooms.
4. Assists with imaging center workflow by helping with general duties as deemed necessary (burn discs with images etc.)

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience
2. Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
3. CPR certification, and
4. Active ARDMS or ARRT(S)
5. Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
6. 1-2 years Ultrasound/Sonography experience preferred
