Transformative IT Program Manager

The candidate will perform the following duties:

  • Support the creation of and provide leadership for an enterprise endeavor to modernize a Federal customer’s IT support model.
  • Serve as a change agent, liaising across government, Amentum, and subcontractor teams to create lasting technological, process, and cultural change.
  • Manages day-to-day technical operations including all aspects of systems integration, engineering design, material procurement, fabrication, systems assembly and installation, environmental testing, logistics, fielding, and follow-on support.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities.  Interface with government personnel.
  •  Formulate and review project feasibility studies, determine costs, ensure conformance to work standards. 
  • Interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organizations for subordinates. 
  • Manage logistics support analysis for military systems. 
  • Manage systems safety studies. Identify, acquire and utilize company resources to achieve project technical objectives. 
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program, and technical personnel.  
  • Responsible for managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort. 
  • Provides direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures. 
  • Provides recommendations for resolution of technical problems to the Government staff and team.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience (within the last seven years) planning, directing, coordinating, and managing proposed methodologies and approach for large scale Enterprise IT Service Delivery and Management Program with multiple places of performance worldwide and a dispersed workforce; frequent procurement of materials and equipment; and employee relations. This may include managing subcontractors, cost, budget, and milestones.
  • Active certification in Program Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional certification or PMI Program Management Professional certification.
  • Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and experience managing as a Service Models (commercial or government)
  • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Agile Certification (desired) or requisite experience
  • Ability to prepare and conduct briefings to diverse audiences
  • Experience developing and implementing risk response plans, implementation plans, and change management strategies
  • A minimum of five years of experience (within the last seven years) in the management and control of complex information systems architectures spanning a
  • minimum of 11 states within the U.S., user and network systems integration, and cloud-based services.
  • A minimum of five years of experience (within the last seven years) executing tasks in compliance with the Federal, DoD, and agency regulations, standards, guidelines,  and frameworks identified in Section C of the TOR including the DoD Zero-Trust Architecture and RMF.
  • A minimum of five years of experience (within the last seven years) managing large scale Enterprise IT Service Delivery and Management Programs within a classified environment.
  • ITIL® V4 Foundation Level Certification.

  •  This position is performed in a traditional office environment.
