About the Job:
PURPOSE STATEMENT:The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, employees, answering the switchboard, responding to inquiries, connecting caller with appropriate party, paging overhead when appropriate, documenting incoming deliveries, processing incoming and outgoing mail and providing additional clerical support as requested.

What You’ll Do
In this vital front-desk role, you’ll keep our facility organized and running smoothly while ensuring everyone who walks through our doors feels seen and cared for.
Your day will include:
Answering and transferring calls in a professional, courteous manner while managing the main switchboard and paging system.
Greeting and directing patients, visitors, and vendors, ensuring all guests are signed in and following facility procedures.
Providing helpful assistance to patients and staff — from making change and checking valuables to handling meal tickets and postage.
Sorting and distributing mail and managing outgoing correspondence.
Handling payments, receipts, and petty cash with accuracy and integrity.
Supporting facility departments with data entry and clerical tasks as needed.
Receiving deliveries and documenting shipments to ensure smooth operations.
Maintaining a safe, secure environment by monitoring the visitor logbook and issuing badges when required.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
At least one year of administrative, reception, or customer service experience (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — warm, professional, and patient-focused
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
A compassionate approach to interacting with individuals in a behavioral health environment
