This role provides enterprise leadership for endpoint security, overseeing prevention, detection, and response capabilities while ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles and healthcare regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST). The position is responsible for integrating endpoint security telemetry into security operations and incident response processes to maintain strong cyber hygiene, resilience, and operational reliability at scale. 

 

• Security Operations & Governance: Lead endpoint security operations, establish standards and baselines, drive vulnerability management and cyber hygiene automation, and ensure effective detection, response, and forensic support across a large, complex enterprise. 

 

• Strategy & Executive Engagement: Define endpoint security strategy and roadmaps, collaborate across infrastructure, identity, network, and cloud teams, and communicate risk, posture, and performance metrics to executive leadership while balancing security controls with usability and patient care continuity. 

 

A caregiver in this position works remotely out of Northeast Ohio, Monday - Fridy from 8:00AM – 5:00PM. 

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Select and hire professionals that will help grow the talent pool within Cybersecurity. 

• Evaluate team members on performance and provide assistance with individual development plans. 

• Provide coaching and mentorship to nurture the development of staff in line with CCF’s vision and values. 

• Responsible for annual budget planning/forecasting. 

• Develop and guides team in documenting remediation recommendations to improve the CC environment. 

• Keep abreast of latest security and privacy legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts, and vulnerabilities. 

• Apply communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate and resolve issues. 

• Facilitate staff augmentation when necessary 

• Other duties as assigned
