About the role

The Associate Manager of School & Library Digital Marketing is part of the dedicated School & Library Marketing team and reports to the Executive Director of School & Library Marketing. They work closely with the whole team to develop and promote titles and campaigns to educators and librarians via online, social media and newsletters.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with the Title Managers to digitally promote titles and roundups as well as conferences and events in the best way
  • Social
    • Responsible for scheduling of posts and tweets
    • Collaborate with title managers to schedule and write content
    • Work with marketing design for assets as well as design in Canva when needed
  • Random House Teachers and Librarians (RHTL) Site (RHTeachersLibrarians.com)
    • Responsible for keeping monthly schedule for both site and newsletter
    • Collaborate with title managers to schedule, and write content
    • Execute monthly updates to RHTL
    • Write and deploy (work with AE Manager) RHTL newsletters
    • Work with marketing design for assets as well as design in Canva when needed
  • Strategize, with Executive Director and team, the S&L digital and social presence as well as grow the presence
  • Review and report on analytics
  • Liaison with the RHCB Audience Engagement Department to be made aware of best practices, divisional priorities, and coordinate announcements to division
  • Travel, attend and work conferences
  • Reports to the Executive Director of School & Library Marketing

Essential Qualifications/Requirements:

 

  • 3 years marketing experience; experience is in School & Library Marketing or Digital a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Self-motivated worker comfortable working independently as well as with a team
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and remain solution-oriented
  • Available to travel domestically
  • Proficiency with workflow management tools, social media scheduling tools, such as Emplifi, and design tools such as Canva, a plus

 

The salary for this position is $63,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
