Senior Design Engineer

<p><b>Role Summary</b>:<br/>Flowserve Corporation is a public, multi-national company engaged in the engineering, manufacturing, and servicing of advanced technology fluid handling and control equipment in a variety of markets worldwide. The products of the company include pumps, valves, mechanical seals, and related services. We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer for the preparation and execution of complete valve design, machining drawings and calculations of "Trunnion mounted ball valves" for the following categories:</p><ul><li>Side Entry – Bolted body and welded body</li><li>Top Entry</li><li>Rising Stem</li><li>Control ball valves</li><li>Through conduit parallel Slab Gate</li></ul><p>The person will also provide support to all the other engineering facilities along the organization for the same product families.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Activities &amp; Responsibilities:</span></b><span> <span> </span></span></p><ul><li><p>Preparation of valve assemblies and machining drawings</p></li><li><p>Cooperation with supervisor and engineering manager.</p></li><li><p>Technical evaluation of standard and customer specifications</p></li><li><p>Executions of design deliverables in compliance with quality standards and Quality system</p></li><li><p>Capability to analyze and review customer specifications</p></li><li><p>Cooperate with production and other department in the organization</p></li><li><p>Cooperate with other site for the Valbart products</p></li><li><p>Enterprise mindset and willingness to go above and behind customer expectations</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Education &amp; Work experiences:</span></b><span> </span></p><ul><li><p>Graduated in Mechanical Engineering or having a technical diploma in mechanical field</p></li><li><p>Experience of minimum 5 years in Ball Valve design</p></li><li><p>Good knowlegde of softwares like Autocad, Solidworks and Ansys</p></li><li><p>Experience in same industry</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Transversal Skills:</span></b><span> </span></p><ul><li><p>Good organizational skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to relate to others</p></li><li><p>Ability to relate to people outside the company</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of English and Italian</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we can offer you:</b></p><p>FLOWSERVE helps developing a systemic vision, having a full span of business and manufacturing processes typical of the multinational industrial groups, the company offers as well:</p><ul><li>Friendly multicultural environment and team events</li><li>Flexible working hours</li><li>Competitive benefits package</li><li>Career development and training opportunities</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p>
