The Head of Early Careers Recruitment will be responsible for the global strategy and execution of our early careers programs that facilitate more than 11,000 hires per year. This leader will ensure the alignment with the firm’s business priorities and fostering a strong pipeline of diverse talent. This role will also oversee program management for all early careers initiatives and be a key driver in innovation, continuously enhancing the candidate experience and program outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring vision, creativity, and a passion for talent development. This leader will modernize how we hire by delivering a pipeline agnostic, ‘skills-first’ early careers talent solution, driven by workforce strategy, an innovative attractive journey and an automated hiring and placement process. The experience lifecycle will be underpinned with insights that allows us to make data driven decisions, and deliver best talent to programs and cohorts, fostering progression based on aptitude, proficiency and performance.


Role Objectives & Responsibilities
• Global Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a global strategy for early careers recruitment across all regions and lines of business. Ensure alignment with business goals and regional talent needs for Emerging Talent (apprenticeships, Year Up, etc), Campus Recruiting (undergrad, MBA, PhD internships) and Program Management (PM) analysts or associates.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Reimagine and innovate early careers recruitment to align with future workforce needs, creating cutting-edge and inclusive hiring experiences. Leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and improve outcomes.
• Diversity & Inclusion: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within early careers recruitment efforts. Ensure programs are accessible and inclusive, driving a diverse pipeline of future talent.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior business leaders, HR, and talent acquisition teams to understand workforce needs and develop tailored recruitment and program management strategies.
• Candidate Experience: Continuously improve the candidate experience, ensuring high engagement and a seamless journey from recruitment through to onboarding and development.
• Program Management: Oversee the operational delivery of early careers programs globally across Recruiting, Program Management, Events, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Student Engagement Teams. Ensure consistency, scalability, and excellence in execution.
• Employer Branding & Campus Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with universities and external partners such as community organizations, workforce development programs, and non-profits creating opportunity for individuals often omitted from traditional hiring channels. Work with employer branding teams to position JP Morgan Chase as an employer of choice for early careers talent.
• Data-Driven Recruitment: Utilize data analytics and technology to drive efficiency in recruitment processes, providing insights to improve sourcing, engagement, and retention of early careers talent.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing, geographically dispersed team of over 230 employees responsible for early careers recruitment and program management. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.


Key Qualifications
• Proven experience in early careers recruitment, talent acquisition, or related roles, with global or regional responsibility.
• Experience managing large-scale, complex programs across multiple regions and functions.
• A track record of driving innovation in recruitment processes, candidate experience, or program delivery.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing remote or global teams.
• Passion for diversity and inclusion, with demonstrated success in driving diverse hiring initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive strategy and decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of internal and external partners.
