Description
The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in
beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence,
preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

- Performs general cooking duties
- Mixes and cooks specialty dishes and delicate foods
- Maintains records of food used and supply on hand
- Maintains dietary work areas, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition
- Insures proper storage of food

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
NONE
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
One year of cooking experience in an institutional or large scale commercial setting.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:
Vocational training in food service will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.

NONE
