Job Description
What you'll learn and do?
Together with a team of junior associates, you will advise HR teams of companies on the tax consequences of employing people in an international context (both inbound and outbound) and assist individual taxpayers (both residents and non-residents) in structuring and managing their personal income tax situation.
You will act as first contact for the client’s HR responsible and have regular contacts with specialists in payroll, immigration, and other Global Mobility related domains.You will organize and review the practical personal income tax aspects to be dealt with for an employee, including tax litigation, as well as the advice on personal income tax and global mobility matters for our clients.
You will frequently be in contact with people of varying cultures and nationalities inside and outside our newly established organization.
Qualifications
Who are you?
- You have a master's degree in Law, (Applied) Economics, Commercial Engineering or Business Studies or a bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Taxation and strong knowledge of Belgian Tax Law.
- You have minimum 3 years of experience in Personal Tax, preferably in a global mobility framework - Experience in consultancy is a big asset.
- You are fluent in Dutch/French, and English.
- You have strong communication skills and are client-oriented.
- You have a practical and hands-on attitude.
- Accuracy, a critical mind-set and good writing skills are embedded in your DNA.
- You are a team player and take responsibility in developing yourself and others.
