Job Summary:

The US based SAP Business ByDesign Project Manager will be responsible for delivering Sapphire’s SAP Business ByDesign project implementations in the US.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Provide guidance with process design.
• Manages day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple or large-scale projects
• Anticipates client’s needs and proposes alternative business solutions

• Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Possesses a knowledge base of each client’s business, organization and objectives
• Maintains client engagement through regular meetings and status reports.
• Ensure that project deliverables conform to the quality standards being defined in the professional services quality management plan
• Serve as a key participant and facilitator in team and client meetings

• Maintains clear and up to date project documentation
• Confronts issues openly and quickly
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors and peers in the business
• Tactfully communicates sensitive information
• Encourages creative and innovative thinking from the team members

• Works across the organization to share lessons learned and best practice methods
• Possesses the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be: 

• Significant ERP implementation experience with SAP Business ByDesign emphasis desirable
• Experience managing technical, cross-functional professional services teams (e.g., consulting, implementation, development) and delivery partners
• Experience managing multiple projects of all sizes
• Ability to manage 2 to 6 projects at once, depending on project size
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in times of high stress

• Ability to work within a multi-cultural environment
• Proven leadership skills with ability to engage, mobilize and motivate multiple teams
• Excellent English, verbal and written communication required
