Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Customer Service Personnel - Boca Raton, FL.

Customer Service Personnel for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute on the FAU Boca Raton campus will be responsible for exceptional customer service and for providing support to all levels of FAU staff, faculty, visitors, and patrons.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Performs data entry; accuracy in data entry is essential.

• Answers incoming telephone calls.

• Greets visitors and assists patrons with registrations.

• Organizes and scans office files.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma required.

Must have availability to work a flexible schedule.



Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Associates degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization.

Customer Service skills.

Must have an excellent level of responsibility, and reliability.

Salary:

$16.00 per hour.

Monday - Friday, Part time between the hours of 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. including some nights (up to 25 hours).

Temporary positions are not established positions and are paid from OPS funds. Temporary positions are usually not eligible for benefits and retirement; however, they may be eligible for health insurance coverage depending on the average hours worked per week. They provide full-time or part-time employment in an exempt or non-exempt employment situation based on job duties and salary in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Temporary positions do not have layoff rights and may be terminated without prior notice.
