The National Account Director at Regal Rexnord plays a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and fostering strong relationships with a key national distribution account. The National Account Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop long-term business strategies, and lead the execution of sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets. A successful candidate will leverage their industry expertise, leadership skills, and client-focused approach to enhance Regal Rexnord’s market position and expand its customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the National Distributor’s strategic plan, aligning with company goals, identifying growth opportunities, and formulating strategies to capitalize on market trends and competitive dynamics.
- Drive the development of long-term business plans, including revenue, profit, and market share targets.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, corporate executives, and field teams, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive sales, promotional, and marketing programs to enhance brand awareness, market penetration, and revenue growth.
- Lead the National Distributor team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing coaching and feedback.
- Drive improved share and revenue growth through strong collaborative relationships among Distribution and IPS groups, including Sales, Customer Care, Marketing, and Product Groups.
- Develop and implement a communication plan to align field sales with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement opportunities that enhance business ease and customer satisfaction and reduce internal operational costs.
- Establish a quarterly QBR cadence with Field and Corporate Leadership, resolve account ownership issues, and coordinate field conflict resolutions.
- Promote Documented Cost Savings and communicate Regal value propositions to Distributor End User National Accounts.
- Support National Account Penetration through engagement with Corporate Reliability Engineering, Asset Management, and Industrial Engineering Directors. Communicate corporate successes and manage campaigns within CRM for plant-level execution.
- Ensure accurate positioning of Regal Rexnord products, services, and technology within the Distributor Transactional System.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Identify and mitigate risks to the National Distributor, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
- Travel 25-50%.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Technical, Business or Marketing preferred
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, operations, or business management, including 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and overseeing complex projects or business units highly preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Competent in MS Office applications / CRM Management / Business application software
Pay Transparency - $160,000 to $180,000 base salary + variable compensation
