Your Responsibilities
As a Product System Specialist - Large Grains for the Eastern Sales Region covering Indiana, Michigan, and Western Ohio for Division E., you serve as the primary product and technology expert to dealer partners and end users in the field to help drive market share improvements in targeted areas by meeting customers’ needs. In addition, you will:
- Counsel and develop dealer partners regarding products, technology systems, sales, and marketing related matters to optimize channel sales capabilities.
- Provide sales support to channel partners with direct customer contact through specialized product expertise to support the market share targets in line with the strategic goals.
- Present and demonstrate products and technology systems at key events and shows.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with appropriate internal and external work groups.
- Establish the interface with sales colleagues, product line marketing, tactical marketing, and channel partners to provide accurate data and analysis to improve product market intelligence and product performance related to specific production systems.
- Provides feedback to other business units on customer and channel partner product improvement requests.
- Leads communication and training to increase awareness and adoption of integrated solutions.
- Support High Potential/Low Share projects to ensure that dealer-specific tactics are developed and executed to grow share in key areas.
- Own the Precision Ag Engagement Score efforts for targeted dealers.

What Skills You Need
- Three or more years of demonstrated sales and marketing skills.
- Three or more years of knowledge on Deere Products and Technology systems.
- Three or more years achieving results based on strong interpersonal skills.
- Over one year of Project Management Skills.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Knowledge and experience with Deere Channel
- Agronomic Knowledge specific to large grains, especially the corn/soybean production system
- Knowledge and experience with Deere and competitive combines, tractors, planters and/or sprayers
- Experience with Deere Integrated Solutions and Technologies, including John Deere Operations Center
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Ag Engineering, Ag Systems Technology, Ag Education, Agronomy, Ag Economics, Sales & Marketing, Business, or related field.
