And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/><br/>As a Network Development Engineer working within Infrastructure you will:<br/><br/> Be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics that supports the Amazon Retail Service, Kindle, Payments and multiple AWS services.<br/> Deploy, scale and automate our network across multiple global datacenters. This includes existing footprints and greenfield locations.<br/> Drive scaling of current network designs to meet the demand of our customers.<br/> Create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.<br/> Work closely with our internal customers on designs/solutions; bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production.<br/> Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these standards.<br/> Create and implement changes on the network.<br/> Work closely with our automation teams in defining the tools that allow us to scale at unprecedented volume.<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/> Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)<br/> Experience (non-internship) in professional software development<br/> Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems<br/> Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering<br/> Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby<br/><br/>We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:<br/><br/>Dublin, D, IRL<h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><br/> Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)<br/> Experience (non-internship) in professional software development<br/> Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems<br/> Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering<br/> Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby<br><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3> Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java<br/> Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology<br/><br/>Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
