The Associate Director plans, organizes and directs the day-to-day activities within the department. The Associate Director assists the Director in implementing operational policies and procedures and ensures operational efficiency is maintained throughout the department.

• Provide best practice implementation support while having oversight of multiple project managers from both a project and HR perspective
• Responsible for creating the implementation plan, managing the budget and assigning the roles and responsibilities to team members for various large scale projects
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling projects by performing the work to compare actual performance with planned performance
• Create project management and business analyst artifacts, guidelines, leading practices and frameworks in a decentralized environment
• Manage project level reporting
• Partner with Finance to develop business cases then, monitor & track results
• Drive resolution of project risk and issues and escalate as required
• Resolve project conflicts
• Ensure on-time, on-budget, and within scope project/program delivery
   

• Bachelors Degree in business, computer science or related field.
• 10 years in the information technology field or its equivalent.
• 7 years of direct work experience in an project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
• Experience in successfully coordinating with functional departments
• Experience in managing project managers in matrix organization
• Experience in managing direct reports
