We are hiring for the following:

Position:    Certified Medical Assistant - SC  PRN

Location:    J Reuben Long Detention Center, Conway, SC

Pay Rate:    $17 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Dispense oral, inhalation, and topical medications to patients
• Stock the medication cart
• Record what medications and dosages are given for the day
• Manage and maintain pharmacy stocks of medicine and medical supplies
• Observe regulations and protocols established by the facility, by MEDIKO, and act in accordance with laws of South Carolina

Qualifications

• Completion of training and hold the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (or Registered Medical Assistant) credential
• One (1) year experience as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (or Registered Medical Assistant) highly desired
• Most hold active CPR/BLS prior to start date and maintain certification throughout employment
