This role follows an onsite model to accommodate business needs while maintaining team collaboration.
Hours: Monday - Friday ; 8am - 4:30pm
Summary: Inspects, repairs, tests, modifies and improves electronic equipment, parts, and systems down to the electronic component level. May solder, use oscilloscopes, and other related equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Comprehensive understanding of function of Instrumentation from internal, OEM and contract manufacturers
Perform troubleshooting, on-bench diagnosis, and repair of Instrumentation.
Compiles detailed production and repair paperwork, including quantities produced, scrapped, in-process, etc.
Ensures quality product is built or repaired and shipped
Ensures that Neogen CASE system entries for the Instrumentation department repairs are properly updated and Cases are closed in timely manner.
Receive new product formal training on instrument operation and repairs from Vendor
Create a repair SOP for new instruments.
Performs direct work, demonstrating the ability to perform any of the various operations within the group
Assist in modifying BOMs, work instructions, and ISO documents as necessary
Assists in maintaining Neogen RA system entries for department
Ensures that parts inventory is properly maintained in SL
Other duties as may be assigned by Manager
