Frontend Developer (Shopify)

About the role

Join our client, a US-based digital marketing company, as a Front End Developer, leveraging your experience to contribute to the creation of intuitive and visually appealing web interfaces. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in designing, developing, and optimizing front-end components that enhance user experiences and drive our software products forward.

Note: this is a remote, contractor role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user interface requirements.

• Design and develop responsive and engaging web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.

• Implement interactive user elements and animations for enhanced user experiences.

• Contribute to the optimization of web performance and page load times.

• Lead front-end development best practices, code reviews, and standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues and bugs.

• Mentor junior front-end engineers and provide technical guidance.

• Stay informed about emerging trends in front-end development.

• Adapt and contribute to evolving software engineering methodologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in similar roles. You should have a portfolio with relevant work to show.

• Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Liquid

• Solid experience with Tailwind CSS

• Previous work on custom Shopify themes

• Familiar with Git or other version control systems

• Experience with modern front-end tools like Vite, NPM

• Effective communication skills in English to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
