Supply Chain Specialist

Responsible for optimizations within supply chain. Planning of workcenters, driving optimizations, performing required ad-hoc analyses. Executing daily reports for tier meetings and master data maintenance as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

Improvements and Analyses

• Identification of systems or work practices which can be improved and recommendation of alternative approaches towards improvement.
• Manage and execute projects in order to support product transfers, new product development, material changes and corporate/local strategic initiatives.
• Develop strategies for material planning and manufacturing scheduling efforts on new projects
• Coordinate with Team Resources to develop and implement procedures relating to production and inventory control requirements.
• Participate in Fit For Growth (FFG) activities in global optimization and development projects.
  • Assist with project management to enable user compliance with onset of new systems including SAP upgrade
  • Support Represent Supply Chain in Continuous Improvement related activities
• Drive Ad-hoc analyses as required
• Tactical work on new planning requirements, responsible for parameter setting and updating/controlling.

• Familiarize with Hollister Global Planning Standards, understand the Hollister way of doing master planning and detailed scheduling and function as supply chain planner.
• Monitor supply chain performance, identify & drive improvement opportunities Work closely with internal and external business units, operations, key stakeholders to deliver a “best in class” service.
• Support FFG Rapid Response system and process implementation.

Work Experience Requirements:

 

• Number of Overall Years Necessary: 2-5

 

• Preferably experience from a Supply Chain function in a production manufacturing company.

 

• Experience as a supply chain planner or production planner, or alternatively from a supply chain specialist function

 

 

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equicalent relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Associates Level Degree or equivalent experience considered

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:

• Experienced/Expert user of Excel, Microsoft office
• Experience with SAP

Local Specifications (English and Local Language):

• English Fluent
