This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Job Summary
The Program Manager of Insurance is responsible for planning, program development, and administration of property and casualty insurance products. Key elements of this position will include but are not limited to, the following: (1) In conjunction with our insurance partners, development of product definition and pricing strategies (2) Definition and direction of product success factors such as sales support, point-of-sale material needs, training needs, and consultative actions with Dealers and Finance & Insurance Consultants (FICs). (3) Management of product provider relationships, including the establishment and monitoring of Service Level Agreements, provider benchmarking, contract negotiations, and prioritizing provider actions (4) Developing channel strategies and tactics in conjunction with Sales & Marketing , including input and review of all marketing materials, website, etc.. (5) Serving as initial point-of-contact for product/provider issues (6) Leadership and development of a support team performing various insurance duties. (7) This position will leverage data, information, and Company resources in a manner that allows for the insight to drive product profit improvement and growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage insurance partner relationships. Collaborate with insurance partners to create, update, and maintain products designed for H-D dealers and riders.
- Work with insurance partners to monitor marketplace product performance and complete ongoing assessments, provide analysis and recommendations based on customer satisfaction performance and loss data.
- Forecast program market positioning, volume, pricing/loss strategy, and revenue and produce supporting business cases.
- Ownership and development of the annual business plan for the selected category of Insurance Products
- Evaluate/maintain/recommend providers with product/pricing/service/claims strategies that support Company sales and profit objectives, to include profit share agreements.
- Recommend new/enhanced products and services based on market needs, customer research, and business goals. Develop business case, conduct financial analysis and coordinate with Sales and Marketing to achieve required support from stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with providers to stay compliant with all regulatory property and casualty insurance licensing requirements for individuals and company.
- Work with Insurance partners, Sales and Marketing to develop promotional plans that drive sales of products and services
- Support and participate as requested in dealer and Sales training activities
- Maintain, monitor, and review contract renewals.
